I clearly missed this family in my search. If I ever find any explanation for why these families left for MO and then returned, and whether they did so as a group, I'll definitely post it here. BTW, I think that someone from my NAPIER family married someone named ZEIGLER (maybe a variant of Ziglar?)in the late 18th or early 19th century. I don't remember if it was in Pittsylvania or Franklin County (and don't have my notes with me to check at the moment).
