The Son of Edmond Fallin/Fallen etc. Redmond was the Grandson of Redman Fallen/Fallon/Fallin/Falling ... the one who made his home on sandy creek of Dan river in 1745. The Grandson Redmond Fallin (The Son of Edmond) let's just call him Redmond the 2nd or Redmond 2. Redmond-2 married Elizabeth Gwin in 1793 (her father was George Holmes Gwin) They had a son named Littleberry Falling (Fallin etc.) Littleberry Fallin(g) was born in Pittsyl Co. 1806 and married Ann Elizabeth Townes in 1829. (her father was Robert Townes). Littleberry and Annie were in Maury County Tennessee (just south of Columbia TN) by 1840, they had a son named Edward Townes Fallin who was in the CSA Army by 1862 and was a P.O.W. by 1865 and was "paroled" at Jacksonport (Jackson County Arkansas). Military record says he enlisted in Augusta (in Woodruff Co. Arkansas). Edward Townes Fallin married Julia Lou Simmons in Dec of 1866, and had several children, one of which was my great Grandfather "George Minor Fallin Sr.) born near Weldon, Arkansas (Jackson County) in Nov. of 1888. I hope this clears up the Fallin/Fallen etc. & Quinn/Gwin Connection. Sincerely, Lance T. Fallin Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
