No, I never did order them through the VA library. One of the reasons I was looking for copies at that time was to help me sister with her DAR stuff, since then she was able to prove descent from Thomas Madding (and Lazarus Dodson, Rachel's father) with other documentation. I would still be interested in ordering the copies though if you want to do it together. As I recall they are $40 for each record and there are 2 records. Let me know.
