Hello, I'm new to this list via a suggestion from another Virginia researcher. I'm grasping at straws really. What I have is my Gr-Gr-Grandfather Zachariah Irby Holloway b 1813 in Virginia as my brickwall. What I'm searching for is any connections between the Irby families and Holloway families in an effort to determine his parentage. Zachariah age 41 married Ruth Asbury Bragg age 18 in 1854 in Georgia and her father Henry C. Bragg was also b in VA. This leads me to believe Zachariah may have been married earlier, probably in VA., but NO PROOF - & no children, YET. I just can't nail down Zachariahs parents.
