Va. She married John Crisman Wagoner, b. 15 May 1853, d. 9 Sept. 1935. They had two children" Is William an ANDERSON or a DOVE? Is Anna a HAYNES or a DOVE? Your 1st paragraph says Willam Anderson DOVE marries Anna HAYNES. I am going to assume that she is a HAYNES as you end with wondering if Richard HAINES could be her father. Don't know if you have these books so thought I would share what I could find in them. If William is a Dove I don't have him in my tree and since most Dove's of Pittsylvania are connected would like to learn about him. In Pittsylvania County Heritage Book Vol 1: I found a Richard Thomas HAYNES (spouse: Cornelia Wilmouth JENNINGS) as the parents of a Odie Thomas HAYNES. There is Richard HAYNES listed as a early member of Asbury Meeting Place, which is listed under Pittsylvania County Churches.(#29 this is the story number in the book) Vol 2 #929 Richard Thomas HAYNES listed as marrying 10 Feb 1888 a Cornelia W. JENNINGS. Gives his birth as 10 Dec 1862. So this couple can't be the father of Ann but maybe related somehow. Which would make Vol 1 finding not her father either. Vol 1 Waggoner Cemetery just a story Vol 2 No John Crisman Wagoner listed Nothing on a John East marrying an Anna Dove, in either Vol. Hope this helps.
