>From the Daily Press in Newport News, VA. MILDRED WATSON DE ALBA Gloucester Mildred Watson DeAlba, 84, died Monday, Aug. 28, 2000 in Lake Taylor Hospital in Norfolk. She was the widow of David F. DeAlba and a native of Chatham. She attended Petsworth Baptist Church in Gloucester. She is survived by her three sons, Hugh F. DeAlba, Harry D. DeAlba and David F. DeAlba Jr., all of Gloucester; three sisters, Lizzie Bowen of Gretna, Lucy Breahm of Ohio and Ellen Clift of Chatham; four grandchildren, David, John, Connie and Angela; and four great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 31, in the chapel of Andrews Funderal HOme by the Rev. Dennis Hollandsworth. Burieal will be at 1 p.m. in the Zion United Methodist Church cemetery in Seaford, Va. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funderal home. Andrews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
