Hi, Can anyone tell me how I might find record of an 1820-21 birth in Pittsylvania County? I'm thinking it was too soon for courthouse records, but I don't know. If I knew what church this family belonged to, maybe I could dig up the birth record from its archives, but I think there were several protestant churches there at the time.
