Thanks to all who answered my query about the VA-NC Piedmont Genealogical Society web page, expecially Dick. I opened the Virginia Genealogical Society web site with no problem. Like Dick I could not open the VA-NC Piedmont GS web site, but thru the VGS web site I found one for the city of Danville (www.ci.danville.va.us/) than answers many questions I have seen on this forum. They have a map locating the courthouse. The VGS web site contains many interesting links. Thanks again to all, Elmer
