New to this list, have just discovered what I think is my family in Pittsylvania Co. 1850s-70s. There are two Sandy SPARKS listed in 1850 census: one is age 22, son of Thomas and Nancy, with siblings Susan W., Sandy T. (or I.), Jane, Matthew and Mary. The other is age 25, listed alone. One of these two Sandys shows up in the 1870 census with Brice, Fannie, Nannie, Susan and William. These given names are from a census Index, so I don't know relationships, ages, households etc. If anyone is familiar with these families, or has access to information about them, I would appreciate a lead.
