    3. Jan, I think that we have been in contact before. I descend from Crispen Shelton through two of his sons, Armistead and Abraham. I, also, descend through Crispen's brother, Daniel. I am very interested in your "Payne/Shelton theory". I actually already have Payne "pencilled in" as Lettice's surname. I will check and see where my info. came from. Please, let me know how your research goes and if I come across anything pertinent, I will be sure to let you know. Thanks, Cindy (Hubbard) Headen mheaden@kimbanet.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jan" <jan241@apex.net> To: <VAPITTSY-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, August 18, 2000 6:48 AM Subject: Re: [VAPITTSY-L] Thomas Payne & Wm Payne Wills > > > > > I don't have a copy of Thomas Payne's Will .. but I do have a copy of William > Paynes (please note .. there is NO mention of a Thomas) ... and here it is: > > Kevin, > Thanks for pointing this out.
