I descend from James Mitchell and the Devins were his neighbors during the time period that you are looking at. The only names that I have are William, Sr., William, Jr., and Robert Devin. I know that the Reynolds family lived in the same area, but could not find a Joseph Reynolds in my info. Cindy Headen mheaden@kimbanet.com >> Penn, Sorry. All I have is the following: 26 July 1803. Joseph Reynolds and Nancy Ford. Sur. James Devin. Married by Rev. Richard Elliott. p. 35 ("Marriage Bonds and Minister's Returns of Pittsylvania County, Virginia, 1767-1805" by Catherine Lindsay Knorr, 1956. p.70) His first wife was Margaret Devin. James Devin mentioned in the bond could be the father or brother (or some other relation) to Joseph's first wife. I believe I am descended from Margaret. Don Bennett
