Hi all -- I have been looking for my MURDOCK line for almost 20 years, and I have recently decided it was time to branch out into neighboring Counties. People were just a heck of a lot more mobile than I gave them credit for being!! I have a JAMES MURDOCK, born ?, who married Delila ERSKINE on April 12, 1841. I have often thought this was a second marriage for him. James died in 1845, in Greenbrier or Monroe County, while Delila was pregnant with their 3rd child, James Lewis. I have thought that James possibly came from NC originally, but have seen no proof of this. I would sure LOVE to know some of his siblings and CERTAINLY his parents!!! James just sort of appears and disappears, leaving hardly any trace at all!! ANY HELP appreciated -- THANK YOU!!! Tracy
