One good source for this material is the publication: Marriages of Pittsylvania County, Virginia: 1806-1830. Compiled by Kathleen Booth Williams. (Baltimore : Genealogical Publishing Co., Inc. c1980) There are other volumes covering other years but I don't have their exact titles at hand.
