Also, please bear in mind when you look at these records that while you may KNOW a name is spelled a certain way or that the data shown is not correct as you KNOW it, it is our job to transcribe the census AS IT WAS WRITTEN in 1850...that means mistakes and all! Each file is proofread by someone other than the person that transcribed it so there are two opinions and confirmations as to what was actually written.
