This List seems to have the most informed people around. Can anyone tell me how to interpret land plots, please? For example, I found a family member listed on N30 of Northampton Co. 1600-1800 Middle Map. Apparently N30 had been settled by about a dozen people in the early 1600's. For those of you who would like to follow this, the page can be found at -- http://www.esva/ghotes/nhmaps/midplot.htm The specific question is: How many acres would be included in a piece of land separately designated: e.g. N30 = ??? acres. I wouldn't think that these would be sections of land (640 acres). Let me hear your wisdom, please. Ernie
