Jan, II find an Edmund who married Millicent Shelton 1 Apr. 1775, she a dau. of Daniel Shelton. Edmund seems to have a bro. John who m. a Blanche Bucknell 11 July 1782. These Taylor brothers were sons of Capt. James Taylor Sr., who made oath that he served in the Byrd Expedition in 1760, oath made in Pittsylvania Co. Ct. Another son was James Jr., who m. Mary Polley Wooding 5 May, 1785. They had a dau. who married my ancestor Lewis Atkinson, and they went to Christian Co., Ky. later.
