Hi Sue, Yes, I think that was a common migration. My Shelton family moved from Pittsylvania to Logan, Christian, Muhlenberg, and Todd counties in western KY. Jan Shelton Nixon; descendant of Ralph, Crispin,Gabriel, then Wyatt Shelton from Pittsylvania. Wyatt was my first Shelton into KY in 1807/08. ----- Original Message ----- From: T Potts Dairy <tpottsdairy@1starnet.com> To: <VAPITTSY-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, May 13, 2000 3:53 PM Subject: [VAPITTSY-L] Pittslyvania Co Va to Hardin Co. Ky. and died there around 1820. Was this a common migration route for people in Pittslyvania Co. when they move" out west"?? Does anyone have other family who moved that direction. > > Sue Potts > > > ==== VAPITTSY Mailing List ==== > Find tons of Pitsylvania County info at the Pittsylvania County VAGenWeb Project! http://www.rootsweb.com/~vapittsy/ > >
