Dear List, I would like to know if there is anyone out there that knows where I can find a book called the Cavaliers and Prancers, Abstracts of Virginia. Thanks Roy Johnson Colorado E-Mail smokie@amigo.net
I am certain the books you are looking for are the many volumes of _Cavaliers and Pioneers_ that abstract the Virginia Patents and Grants. These are available for purchase from most book sellers including those like Barnes and Nobles. There are now 6 volumes (I believe that is the right number) so it will run into some money. Most libraries that collect Virginia material at all will have these books because they are foundational for Virginia Research.
