The url < www./va.us/dlpp/index.htm> Once on the page, click Military History, then click Confederate soldiers and widows . then click "WORD or Phrase, then type in last name.....this will bring up ALL pensioners of that name in state of Virgina......click on 1st name, page will come up that tells the county that it is from, if you are interested in seeing the pension -go to top line and click, it takes you to an ICON, click......It will say you must have a TIFF reader, if you have Adobe Acrobat, you have a Tiff. Click first document, a picture of a locked computer appears, click OPEN on site and ok. This allows you to read to read the document. use back arrow to return to next doc. ALWAYS click the open on site, and ok. There is a tool bar to zoom in or out, to turn documents, just work with it, This is a WONDERFUL site, has Rev War VA pensions, bounty land indexes and lots of goodie..Enjoy regards, Margie Brown --part1_b8.822bdaa.2698b63d_boundary--
