My Clark line seems to end in Pittsylvania Co. According to information handed down in the family, Peter H. Clark arrived in this county as a young man. He married there to Elizabeth Campbell in 1803 - was mentioned in the will of William Mitchell and was administrator of his father-in-law's (John Campbell) in 1825. There were other Clarks living in the county at the same time, but we have not been able to tie him to any of them - as of yet. I have wondered about the possibility of William Mitchell's wife being related to Peter . Anyone doing research on any Clarks or Mitchells in the county? Thanks.
Hi, My Clark line also ends in Pittsylvania Co. My Clarks were in the southern half, very near Danville. What about yours? H & CJ Nichols wrote: > My Clark line seems to end in Pittsylvania Co.
