Petty b. 3/27/1817? d.? married to a Martha Morton Russell b. 4/6/1820 d. 8/24/1889 had at least 1 child Laura Lee Petty Looking for a Ewell Herbert Farmer b. 2/3/1859 d. 2/23/1922 married Laura Lee Petty b.9/7/1862 d. 8/18/46 Had at least 6 children; Mary Modem, Willie Marlin, Oscar Ewell, Joe Herbert, Petty Laura, Thomas Coles. All of the above lived in Pittsylvania or Halifax County. Willie Madison Lewis and Petty Laura Farmer are my paternal grandparents.
