He moved across the line to the Rockingham Co, NC area about 1780 or so. Also said to have lived in Pittsylvania Co were James P McCubbin, John Israel McCubbin, Zachariah McCubbin and Nicholas McCubbin. Those four are possibly brothers. Are they sons of William or of someone else? Any help would be most appreciated. Glad to share. Thanks.
