He dies in Fleming County. There are also Paynes in Fleming County who were in Lincoln County in 1800. One of these is Zodock Payne. Do you know if there is a connection between the Reuben you mentioned and this Reuben Payne? or Zodock? There is also an Isaac, Daniel, and Duvall Payne mentioned about 1800 in this area.
