I am a descendant of this Reuben Thacker by his marriage to Nancy Allen. For some time I have speculated that Reuben could be the son of Nathaniel, but have not been able to find documentation to provie it. What evidence do you have to show Reuben as the son of Nathaniel? There was also an older Reuben Thacker in Goochland Co. He died there in 1814 and left a will naming his wife, Jenny and a brother David. Could this Reuben have been a brother of Nathaniel? My Reuben married Nancy Allen in 1797 in Pittsylvania Co. Nancy's mother, widow of Alexander Magruder Allen (Luallen) married a Nathaniel Thacker in Pittsylvania Co. in 1798. Do you have any idea where this Nathaniel came from?
