I am searching for the family of Capt. (perhaps an honorary title) Isaiah Morton of Pittslyvania co., VA, who I think was the son of John Morton of that place in the 1700s and his first wife. I have found this citation which may help: In the last will and testament of James Strange of 3 Sept. 1808, "Capt. Isaiah Morton and Thomas Harris, appointed executors of this last will and testament. Sept. 3, 1808 Pittsylvania County, Va. Thanks.
