I am a descendant of some Weakley Co, TN Adkins. We do not know for sure where they migrated from, but have been assuming Pitt Co, as others in the family lines came from there. My earliest ADKINS is James Collie ADKINS b.1845, d. 1-28-1919. We do not know his birthplace or deathplace, nor his parents. He married a Harriet E.?. Their son was John Braxton ADKINS b. 1871, d.1945. Again no place info. He married Lucia or Lucy Morris b.1874, d. 1917. They had a son James Thomas ADKINS who was born in 1893 in Weakly CO, TN and died 1973 in Charlotte, MI. Do these names ring any bells with your research. Thanks Cris
