Barbara, I would look maybe in Bedford Co, or Powhatan as Joseph's estate settlement show him in that area before coming to Pittsy. I figure this Elizabeth would be born ca 1740/44, for the oldest son John is born 1760. Also the Amherst records, indicate that the David Crawford Jr died at approx same time as David Sr....and people have confused the two. David Jr became Sr on the death of his father....think they have Judith far to old, I do not think that Elizabeth and David Crawford were having children in their 60's. Judith and Joseph need to be completely redone, once Maud Clements made the mistake of making Joseph the son of Benjamin instead of a contemporary, the problems mushroomed.
