HUGHES, was born 1856,the son of Berryman G and Martha A. HUGHES, he married 2 Nov 1878, Nannie B. HUGHES, in Yanceyville, Caswell Co., NC. They lived in Chatham, Pittsy- lvania CO. His occupation was a tobacconist and farmer. Their children were: George, b Oct 1879; Lena A b Feb 1882; John W b June 1885; Laura G b June 1887; Richard N b Mar 1890; James B b Jan 1892; Lizzie T b Nov 1896.
