Trying to clear up a conflict I have in the parents of Stephen Dove . . . Were his parents Thomas Dove and Mary ?? or James Dove and Libby Halbert? I know he was from Fairfax County and moved to Pittsylvania Co. as a small boy to live with his uncle William Dove who served in the Revolutionary War. Please help to clarify this for me.
