James A. Mitchell (d. 1795) married 1779 Sarah Warren Philpott. They had at least one child Elizabeth Michell (d. 1859) who married Hugh Reynolds 1801. I am not aware of any other marriages of this James A. Mitchell. Linda

Linda, This is the only marriage for this James Mitchell that I know of, also. The children of James Mitchell and Sarah Warren (Philpott) (Hubbard) are: Samuel Philpott, Elizabeth "Betty", John (my ancestor), Jane "Jennie", Cassandra "Cassey" never married, Patricia "Patsy" never married, and James Allen.
