First of all I want to thank each person who assisted in the research of the Civil War project, Thank you from the bottom of my heart. The project is almost completed, it now contains 82 family members who served in the 18th, 21st, 37th, 42nd, 46th, 53rd and 57th Virginia Infantries in the Civil War from Pittsylvania, Franklin, Henry Counties. I have completed 152 pages of data on every aspect of the men and the military and the battles they saw action at. I have added over 300 names of men from Pittsylvania County who served as well, and 200 men from Franklin and Henry Counties as well out of the respect due to each of them. Over the past 5 months I have traveled to well over 100 Battlefields collecting informationand photographing them to make this project a wonderful addition to the History of Pittsylvania County.
