    3. Since Meadows/Meador seems to be a good subject right now, I'm looking for information on Pryant Meadows m. Minerva Catherine "Kate" Colbert bet 1875 and 1880. Pryant died 31 Jul 1880 and had one child. Also looking for his parents,Samuel Meadows and martha _. I can find them in the 1850 census. He was an overseer in that census. Does anyone know the parents of Samuel Meadows or his wife Martha_? Samuel seems to have at least the following children in the 1850 census...Pryant J., John, Mary? There is a Samuel Meadows in the 1820 census with four males. Later, in 1854, there is a death notice for a Samuel Meadows with informant listed as wife, Nancy _, Meadows, who states he died of old age. His age is given, making his birth year 1772 Minerva "Kate" Colbert Meadows was my GG aunt.
