    3. Hi Martha, The Society published two volumes: a) a book of alphabetical burial records that give name, date of burial, sometimes age at death, sometimes death date, sometimes names of parents (in case of infant), and section number; and b) a book of headstone inscriptions arranged in order of section. The records are current to December 31, 1986. If you're a member of the Society, you can look in the back of any Piedmont Lineages and there'll be a price list for these volumes. Green Hill is published in the same fashion. Tom

I will be contacting them to purchase a copy if it's something you think would be beneficial in my genealogy hunting. (I'm a member of the Society, too!) Thanks... Martha Clayton Clement

    3. David Wade Dalton is the s/o Jonathan Dalton and REbecca Elizabeth Dalton (d/o Benjamin and Caty Mayhew). the info from the Hines side (David Wade married Lucy Hines, d/o John Hines and Sarah Mayhew), says he was s/o Jonathan. The marriage bond says David W. Dalton, 30 and Lucy Hines, 23, on 25 nov 1869. P/G Jonathan & rebecca Dalton. P/B John & Sarah Hines. I think that Benj. and Caty Dalton (Parents of Rebecca Dalton) had at least one other child (actually I have two more), one of whom was Booker Dalton who married Elizabeth Owen. Their son, Anderson Dalton m. Mary Mayhew 1867 , Thier son, Anderson's daughter Nannie Dalton (Annie Dalton) m. Raliegh Bybee, according to Pat Burke. I don't have the marriage record for Raliegh Bybee, but I have the abstracts of the others. ----- Original Message ----- From: Pat Burke <beachgirl526@hotmail.com> To: <VAPITTSY-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, April 30, 2000 8:53 AM Subject: [VAPITTSY-L] Dalton/Hines > If anyone has information on David W. 2. Hello again, I see by the 61 new e-mails in my home inbox that either a) RootsWeb decided to clear the e-mail backlog, or b) my internet service provider, ToadNet, decided to clear it's e-mail backlog. I'm also getting a lot of old VAPITTSY mail at my work e-mail at the moment. Conclusion? I don't know what happened. But I'm glad things are becoming unjammed, even if it's only on my end and not RootsWeb's problem at all. Thanks for putting up with all this.
