I am looking for the old homesite of Stephen H. Wood, (married Sarah Cruise) the son of Jeremiah Wood and grandson of Richard Dickey Wood. All I know is he lived somewhere at Meadows of Dan in the late 1800s and early 1900s until he died. There were lots of Stephen Woods but he usually went by S.H. Wood on legal documents. My mother seems to remember that you turn at the old homeplace of a Henry Caswell? off of Rt 58. If anybody can give me directions to Stephen Wood's homeplace, I would be so grateful. I'm planning a trip soon to visit his grave again and want to go there, too. Thanks for your help. Carol
