I am researching the surnames Anderson and Epperson in Patrick County. There are no Andersons in Patrick County before 1870, though my grandmother says my grandfather's family moved there in 1818. On David Anderson's death certificate the father is listed as Jacob though the family history says that David's father was Marion Anderson. Supposedly, Marion moved to Patrick County after 1817 when he married Jane Faugerson (Ferguson. Additionally, a GEDCOM file that I found lists Meredith Anderson m. Jane Faugerson (Ferguson).
