Looking at my Virginia Atlas and Gazeteer the Little River flows into the New just south of the city of Radford, within sight of I-81, it forms the boundry with Pulaski County (formed 1839), and very close to the Claytor Lake Dam. What is the date of these surveys? I would estimate it is about 20 miles from this place to Woods Gap.
