Missy, I received the file. This is a copy of a program for the Wood general reunion held in 1936 in memory of Richard Wood. I have a copy of a booklet that was printed by Lewis A. Wood in Beckley, WV which says it is the 2nd annual reunion Sat, May 30th, 1936. The family began to gather in the 1930's and share info. At the reunion, Lewis A. Wood was the only living grandchild of Richard and Rachel. He was the son of Peter (my gr gr gr grandfather) who married Rhoda Thompson after the death of Peter's 1st wife Nancy Moran. He was born when Peter was in his late 60's. He referred to Richard as Grandfather Dickey. He is buried here in the Wildwood Cemetery at Beckley, WV. Since seeing this, I am convinced it was Uncle Steve who presided at this memorial service. It was not Richard's funeral. He died in 1859. They did not even check the death record before printing the programs. They used 1775-1865. Proof that they did not pay close attention to details. Judy
