The two Nelsons are one and the same- in fact, he married three times, the last to Sally Young. he was fairlly prolific and Truman and I are still collecting Moran cousins up and down the East Coast. The big secret of the Nelson and Mary Owen Moran family is who their parents are- I continue to hunt in Amhearst and Albemarle. Albemarle County had both a William Owen and William Moran in the mid-1700's. Nelson and Mary's first born son was named William- coincidence?
