Apparently, there was some of John MIDKIFF Sr.' children left Pittsylvania co. VA. for Kanawha co. WV. and some went to Patrick co. VA. This is also true of the PARSON's. To make matters even more confusing, 2-3 generations named their children with the same 'given' names and born in the same years, although in different places. - ie: "John MIDKIFF(b. abt. 1740) m. Mary Agnes PARSONS(b. abt. 1744)" Pittsylvania co. VA. Several of their children went to Kanawha co. WV. "John MIDKIFF(b. March 11, 1762; d. July 18, 1839) m. Mary{Agnes?} PARSONS(b. abt. 1764; d. aft. 1841)" Their children appear to have gone to Patrick co. VA. Pittsylvania co.>>Patrick co. VA. This 'John' was Rev. War vet. In the Will of "Richard PARSONS", 1785 - does this refer to the 1st "John and Agnes" or the 2nd "John and Mary A."? Are the (2) 'John's father and son? eileen
