(1849-1871) Research Notes for Absalom Fulcher CENSUS: He lived, we his three children, on the farm of Albert and Martha Gowan in Moniteau Co., MO in 1850. WITNESS: On 13 Aug 1845 in Moniteau County, MO, James Inglish was appointed curator of the property of Thomas, William, Amanda ann, and James Burwell Elliot, infant heirs of the estate of William Elliot, Senior, deceased. The signed secretaries were Alexander H. Spencer and Absalom Fulcher (Book B, pg. 3). On 28 Nov 1853 in Moniteau County, MO, A. H. Spencer was appoint Administrator of the estate of James Crum, deceased. John McDonald and Absalom Fulcher were the signed secretaries (Book B, pg. 78). On 1 Mar 1858 in Moniteau County, MO, Anderson J. Crum was found indebted for the sum of $11.94 to Crawford Turner, Sheriff of Patrick co., VA. Absalom Fulcher, J.N.E. Moser and Featherston Akers were the signed secretaries (Book B, pgs. 159-160). Research Notes for Martha (Spouse 1) CENSUS: She was unlisted in the 1850 Missouri census with Absalom and their three children.
