Hi Barb, I don't have much more than you do on Martha Layman. I show her birth date as abt. 1811 and death date abt. 1880. I show that she married Jonathan Brammer Dec. 1, 1834 in Patrick County and they had 7 children: William Jasper, Anderson, James, Belinda, George W., Emmen, & Rufus. Libby McKinney
