Looking for folks out there researching the families of MIDKIFF and STOVALL. These 2 families lived in Patrick and Franklin cos. abt. 1800's. My line starts with Matthew and Susannah(CLEVER)MIDKIFF. It is believed she was from Pittsylvania co. They were m. in 1822. I have found members of this family in both Patrick and Franklin Fed. census. The connection between the Midkiff and Stovall families is through: George Tyler Midkiff and Louella Texas Stovall, m. in 1876, Patrick co. VA. 'Tyler' was s/o Frances Midkiff Louella(aka - 'Tex') was d/o Archelaus and Mary T. Stovall Does anyone know anything about these families? Eileen(moore)coppola
