Hi Rooters, I have posted this before, but didn't find the answer, so am going to try again, on the chance that someone out there knows who these two women are! 1850 Russell census has #128 Ruth Bays 48 TN, Cynthia 29 VA George A. 7, (actually this is great grandfather George W. H.), James 5, John 3. 1860 Russell census has #110 Cynthia Bays 39 (seamstress), George B. 17, James K. P. 14, John T. 13, Edward 9, Ruth Bays 73 TN. Despite the fact that poor Ruth aged 25 years in the 10 years between the two census reports, I am still hoping to find one or more husbands for these two women! Was Cynthia Ruth's daughter or daughter in law? When I checked the marriage records for George and James, they stated under parents - Cynthia Bays. I am completely stuck! PLEASE someone, tell me who Ruth and Cynthia are! Thanks so much for any help you can give me! Anne Bays
