Sonny, I have 2 Griffith's in my family tree. My gggrandmother was Mary Jane Griffith who married Peter J Thomas on March 10, 1853. Their daughter, Virginia Victoria Thomas, b. July 31, 1864 married Everette Clayton DeHart in Pat.Co. Feb 8, 1883. Their dau., Daisy Mary Eliz.DeHart, b. Feb 7, 1887 married Wiley Alexander Nolen Jan 7, 1909 in Floyd Co, Va My gggrandfather was Elijah Griffith who married Susan Young on Jan 1, 1842 in Franklin Co.,Va I think he is the son/grandson of John Griffith...just a notation I made. Elijah Griffith had two (2) dau. who became my ggrandmother's, Amanda Frances Griffith, b.Apr 2, 1858 married in Pt. co. to George W Bowling/Bouldin and her sister, Meliash(Mellisa) Griffith, b Feb 18, 1848 married William (Billy) Otha Dixon__?
