NOLAN Mr. Carl Ray Nolan, 95, died Thursday, November 26, 1998 at Silas Creek Manor. He was born to the late Charlie and Ada SHELTON Nolan on January 16, 1903 in Patrick County, Va. He lived in Winston-Salem most of his life and worked at R.J. Reynolds. He was a member of Christ Wesleyan Church where he served on the church Board of Directors. He is survived by his wife, Grace McCRACKEN Nolan, of 56 years; three nephews; and two nieces. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 28, 1998 at Christ Wesleyan Church, 2400 Union Cross Road in Winston-Salem by Rev. Joseph Jennings. Entombment will be in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends after the service in the church. The family requests no flowers.
