There is a book titled "The Stovall Family in America" written by Carmae Massey Smith of Houston, Texas that has a tremendous amount of genealogy in it. It starts with Bartholomew Stovall and Ann Burton who came to Virginia about 1684 and the Patrick Co. Stovalls trace their lineage through these two. I have had my book for approx. 20 years.
