As one of the *founding* members of and subscriber to the DeHart List, I have to interject that I have never seen the anyone post a message that a John Hubbard was the father of Hannah Chariety Hubbard, wife of Gabriel P DeHart. Not ruling out that I may have missed a posting. So, please indicate the digest number or date of post where this statement was made. Also, doesn't rule out that someone might have *speculated* on her lineage (upon which they would have immediately been asked for source/documentation/proof). Or possibly you might have privately received that information from a subscriber to the List. But Hannah Charity Hubbard's parents are as big a mystery as that of Jesse DeHart who married Jemima Wood (and her parents too???). If either of these two couples are ever identified (with documentation or heavy preponderance of evidence), people will be shouting it from the rooftops. 8-)) Gloria
