A STANDING OVATION FOR JEAN LAWSON WITH MY GRATITUDE AND THANKS. The culprit in the subject identification problem if two fold. The first fold is the convenience of the reply/send button and the second fold is the inability and/or unwillingness of the reply poster to take about nine (9) seconds to change the subject. In my book the cause of the second fold might be categorized as inattention bordering on laziness. I'm not sure subscribers know that all posts are archived at Rootsweb under the identified subject matter in addition to the content of the post. If you have done any Rootsweb archiving you know the difficulty presented by this failure to change the subject when the thread of the post has changed. It also makes a real mess for those of us who try to save, index and categorize posts. If anyone wishes to confront me for my above expression of a judgmental opinion please do so directly to me and not to the list and in doing so change the listed subject identification to "Confrontation."
