    1. STUART
    2. Hi Beth and David and all you Patrick County Rooters, Thanks for all the info, but I'm still stuck! I knew about the town of Stuart and grandmother Sarah Elizabeth Stuart even said she was "some kind of kin" to J.E.B. Stuart, but I just can't find the connection. I know it sounds as though it would be a simple problem but it's not! John Alexander Stuart b. July 1852 m. 1873 Edmannia (not certain of spelling- daughter Mary spelled it Ednaannia, but she spelled her father Alexzander) Virginia Davis b. March 1857. We found them in Pulaski in the 1900 census and in Bland County in the 1880 census, but cannot find either one prior to that. Guess it is possible that John could be the son of one of J.E.B.'s brothers?? I know I must be missing something very obvious. I was hoping that with all the Stuarts out there, some would be on this list. I guess that would be too- o-o-o easy. Thanks for all the help and for listening!
