The Patrick County Genealogy Society is currently putting together a WWII Pictorial Book of Patrick County Veterans who served in WWII as well as the efforts on the homefront back home. If you have a veteran in your family from Patrick County (or even if they are deceased), you can submit all the pictures you want to us (not your originals, please), along with a 25 word caption for each picture FREE! Pictures can include their military pictures, pictures they took overseas, postcards, letters back home, rationing books, etc. We will be having a meeting this Saturday, at the Stuart Baptist Church at 9:00 a.m. to begin accepting pictures for this project. The Patrick County Genealogy Society is an outgrowth of the Patrick County Heritage Book.
